Each year the CAMFT Board of Directors and Grassroots CAMFT's 8th Annual PAC ReceptionAdvocacy Team, lead by CAMFT’s Lobbyist, travel to Sacramento and Washington, D.C. to lobby Representatives on bills affecting the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) profession. CAMFT’s advocacy is a top priority to provide parity for LMFTs in California, as well as increase awareness and monies allocated to access mental health care for Californians. CAMFT’s PAC also assists in electing and re-electing candidates and incumbents from both political parties to the California State Legislature and U.S. Congress who demonstrate an understanding and willingness to be supportive on the issues most important to Marriage and Family Therapists. CAMFT members, CAMFT’s PAC needs your support to help the LMFT profession thrive! Your $49 admission is a donation. All proceeds will directly benefit the CAMFT State PAC, so why not attend and learn all about CAMFT’s advocacy efforts, and how you can get involved in CAMFT’s PAC and Grass Roots efforts?

Include this event in your conference agenda, and join CAMFT’s Political Action Committee; Nabil El-Ghoroury, CAMFT’s Executive Director; Jan Mellinger, CAMFT Board President; and, fellow CAMFT members for the opportunity to meet, greet and network with California State Senator Jerry Hill over a complimentary cocktail and hors d’oeurves.
