You can gain seven (7) hours of continuing education credit by reading How to Build a Private Practice, answering the accompanying assessment test and completing the evaluation form. Get started today! Persons seeking units by self-study must return the assessment, evaluation and payment to CAMFT. CAMFT will provide the participant with verification of completing seven (7) hours of continuing education. View the Table of Contents of How to Build a Private Practice.

  • Persons may use these credits to satisfy hours of continuing education gained by self-study.
  • Self-study is limited to 18 hours per renewal period/9 hours for new licensees.
  • Self-study is not acceptable for prelicensed persons gaining hours for workshops, training sessions, seminars and conferences.
