CAMFT's Policy Against Discrimination

“CAMFT’s Ethical Standards have long provided that MFTs neither condone, nor engage in discrimination, nor refuse professional services to anyone on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic, or marital status. In line with the Ethical Standards, CAMFT, as an organization, is opposed to discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic, or marital status. It is the belief of the CAMFT Board of Directors that discrimination and discriminatory acts can negatively affect the emotional and social well-being, stability, and mental health of individuals, couples, and their children.”
