As we all are aware, the firestorm is over and recovery efforts are well under way. People are rebuilding homes and life for most is returning to a state of normalcy. However, the economic, social, and environmental impacts will remain for years and we will continue to grip with yesterday’s tragedy while trying to prepare for the next one. Unfortunately, the next one was only a rainstorm away.
