Revised CAMFT Ethical Standards took effect on July 1, 2008. CAMFT Ethical Standards to access these
standards on the CAMFT website, or call CAMFT to have a copy mailed or faxed to you. Do not destroy the
old booklets, however, as the Procedures for Handling an Ethical Complaint are still undergoing revision,
which should be completed within the next year.

These new standards will be applicable to clinical, supervisorial, and other situations that are in process at
the time the new standards take effect. Be sure to read about some of the key changes in the
September/October issue of The Therapist
.

Members, agencies, and educational institutions should acquire and distribute the new standards for use
in practice and in training.

Legislative UpdateAs the legislature came to an end and bills made their way to
the Governor in the midst of the struggle to come to terms on a
budget for California, those bills not yet acted on by the Governor
resulted in somewhat of a blood bath. to log in

Health Professions Education FoundationThe Health Professions Education Foundation (Foundation) is
currently offering a loan repayment program for Mental Health Professionals.
The Foundation has approximately $3 million available in award money for this
