SB 620 Signed by Governor

SB 620 Signed by Governor

The BBS bill, SB 620, was signed by the Governor!

The bill revamps the current hours of experience requirement for LMFTs and streamlines the various “buckets” of hours that LMFTs must achieve in order to become licensed. The purpose of this bill is to remove barriers to aspiring LMFTs to obtain hours in a more efficient and effective manner. The bill will go into effect in January, 2016, with a phase-in period. Learn more about this bill.
