Sara Nasserzadeh
Sara Nasserzadeh, PhD, DipPST 


Dr. Sara Nasserzadeh is a Social Psychologist specializing in Sexuality, Relationships, and Intercultural fluency. She is an award-winning author with three books, Orgasm Answer Guide, Sexuality Education Wheel of Context and Love by Design: 6 ingredients to build a lifetime of love.

Dr. Nasserzadeh has presented more than 500 keynote addresses and workshops on a variety of topics across the globe and worked across 40 countries. Dr. Nasserzadeh is an Associate member of CAMFT and has served on the board of various professional organizations including the International Society for the Scientific Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), World Association for Sexual health (WAS), American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), and California Psychological Association Division VII (CPA). She serves at the Religion and Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights Task Force of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Based in Los Angeles, she travels globally.

Workshop Description:

Unlock the door to a deeper understanding of sexual concerns within diverse cultural contexts. This workshop provides a comprehensive and interculturally informed framework designed to empower professionals working with individuals and couples facing sexual concerns.

 

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • List at least one critical questions to include in intake questionnaires for couples with sexual concerns to be culturally responsive
  • Acquire self-awareness around the 4 main roles of the provider
  • Describe "sexual culture" framework
  • Identify exercises and tips to work with clients beyond the presentation
