Purpose/Function: The Purview Committee implements the Purview Policy, which guides decisions on whether social/public policy issues are within the range of operation or concern for the CAMFT Board of Directors.
Composition: The Purview Committee shall be comprised of five (5) members—one (1) current Board of Directors member and four (4) Clinical or Pre-Licensed members of the Association. Diversity in committee composition is desired.
Term: Committee members are appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the CAMFT Board of Directors for a term of two (2) years, except for the Board member on the Committee, whose term shall be one (1) year. A member may serve as Chair for one (1) term.
Meetings: The Committee meets via tele/videoconference as needed.
