CAMFT’s main objective has always been to advance marriage and family therapy as an art, a science, and a mental health profession. It is our goal to positively shape the common business interests of all our members, which is why we are working to align our association with many other California associations and introduce an opt-out procedure to raise funds for our state Political Action Committe (PAC).
Beginning this summer, you will see on your CAMFT dues renewal statement an automatic optional $4.00 charge for our state PAC. Your contributions play a vital role in advancing the future of our profession. To promote continued support for CAMFT’s initiatives and efforts through our PAC, this charge will be automatically included on your renewal invoice with an option to opt-out as you please or, even better, donate more. The typical donation for our Political Action Committee is approximately $25.
CAMFT values transparency to the highest degree and respects the wishes and autonomy of its members, which is why we have created this opt-out feature to align with your own choices and individual priorities.
