From Relapse to Resilience: 5 Game-Changing Tools for Long-Term Recovery

Saturday | May 2, 2026
9:00 am - 10:30 am
(1.5 CEs)

Description:

Addiction is not just a personal struggle — it’s a life-or-death battle devastating families, eroding communities, and claiming lives at an unprecedented rate. Despite the dedication of therapists and treatment providers, relapse rates remain high, and the tools that most influence long-term sobriety are too often underused or inaccessible to those who need them most.

In this engaging and practical session, we’ll examine what it truly takes to help someone not just get clean, but stay clean. We’ll explore the current state of addiction in America — why it continues to grow, why relapse is common, and why many of the most effective strategies aren’t reaching the people who could benefit most.

Drawing on both clinical expertise and real-world experience, I’ll reveal five powerful tools that can dramatically improve recovery outcomes. These tools go beyond standard treatment approaches, addressing the deeper  foundations of sustainable recovery. They are practical, adaptable, and proven to strengthen both individuals and the family systems that support them.

Whether you work directly with individuals and families or influence systems of care, this session will equip you to help clients move from fragile early sobriety to lasting, life-giving recovery. You’ll leave with actionable steps to strengthen treatment outcomes, reduce relapse risk, and expand access to the tools that truly change lives.

Join me and discover how to move the conversation — and your clients — beyond relapse and into resilience.

Learning Objectives:
