SUPERVISION INFO AND TESTING TIMELINES FOR PRE-LICENSEES

CAMFT has been advocating with BBS and the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) regarding various laws and regulations negatively affecting pre-licensees, including statutes for licensing timelines, examination requirements, and supervision issues. Because many of these issues are written into law, the BBS and DCA cannot unilaterally waive requirements. CAMFT is advocating along with the BBS to hopefully see helpful Executive Orders from the Governor in the coming weeks. We are doing everything we can to address this issue, and will keep members updated as soon as we receive clarification.
