Let Certified Supervisor Candidates know that you are willing to be a Consultant!

The Directory also lets those interested in becoming a Certified Supervisor know who is willing to be a Consultant. Again simply Log-In to your Dashboard to the area under Certified Supervisor Program and click on “Willing to be a Consultant for a Certified Supervisor Applicant” - Candidates can even sort the list by those who are willing!

New CAMFT Certified Supervisor Requirements

When the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) new supervision regulations went into effect on January 1, 2022, it was the perfect time for CAMFT to upgrade its Certified Supervisor Program (CSP), which hadn’t seen any major changes since its inception in 1998. The most significant changes require that initial applicants who apply after October 10, 2022 must now complete the 18 hours of coursework before submitting an initial application and complete 104 hours of supervision with their supervisee(s). To see all the changes, click here.

New Certified Supervisor Renewal Requirements

CAMFT Certified Supervisors who renew after October 1, 2022, will now renew every two years with streamlined requirements and a lowered renewal fee. For more information, click here.
