Dress Code: Business or business-casual attire is recommended. Attendees should wear comfortable shoes, as the day will include walking between the event location, the Capitol, and legislative offices.
We also recommend checking the weather forecast in advance and dressing accordingly, as portions of the day may be spent outdoors.
Luggage: Attendees checking out of the hotel on May 4, 2027, may leave their luggage with the Hyatt Regency’s bag check service or store it in the designated conference space at the California Chamber of Commerce during the event.
Additional day-of information will be provided to registered attendees prior to Advocacy Day.
Electronic Devices: Phones, cameras, and other electronic devices may be permitted in the Capitol subject to applicable security requirements and restrictions.
Photo ID: Attendees must bring a government-issued photo ID to enter California Chamber of Commerce and the State Capitol.
Advocacy Materials: CAMFT will provide the materials and information needed for legislative visits.
Please plan to travel light, as attendees will be walking between locations throughout the afternoon. CAMFT will provide a bag to hold your materials, a small notebook, a pen, and a small bottle of water.
All attendees should be prepared to comply with applicable Capitol security procedures and restrictions.
Weapons and other prohibited items are not permitted. Attendees should review current Capitol security requirements prior to the event, as policies and restrictions may change.
Additional security information will be provided to attendees as Advocacy Day approaches.
