Emily Celis has been a practicing therapist since 2011 (licensed in 2017), specializing in Religious/Spiritual Abuse, Religious Transitions, and Faith Crises. Emily became a Certified Reiki energy healing practitioner in 2009 and a Reiki Master|Teacher in 2013 and had been formally teaching Reiki Training & Certification since 2014 to many holistic-minded professionals, including nurses, therapists, and psychologists. Emily believes deeply in integrating holistic approaches in therapy as the most efficacious way to help clients achieve a greater sense of well-being and resolve presenting issues..

Workshop Description:

Learn the S.A.G.E. Method to discover how simple and powerful holistic approaches are in therapy while also gaining express knowledge of Reiki energy healing and how this can deepen your therapy practice.


Learning Objectives:

Learn the S.A.G.E. Method to discover how simple and powerful holistic approaches are in therapy while also gaining a basic understanding of a commonly known holistic practice called Reiki, or energetic healing to broaden awareness of potential client issues.

  1. Participants will be able to define what a holistic approach means within their scope of practice
  2. Participants will be able to identify six concepts of wellness that directly impacts mental health
  3. Participants will be able to name four principles of holistic wellbeing (S.A.G.E.)
  4. Participants will be able to define what Reiki is
  5. Participants will be able to verbalize how to work in a treatment team approach with holistic or other Reiki practitioners
  6. Participants will be able to name at least four benefits of Reiki

CAMFT has arranged a limited hotel room block for attendees who plan to stay overnight on Monday, May 3.

Attendees are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel reservations.

Rate: $209.00, plus taxes and fees. (This discounted rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to the first xx reservations. Once the room block is filled, the rate will revert to the hotel’s standard pricing. Early booking is strongly encouraged.)
