On June 6, US Senators Jon Tester and Jerry Moran, chairman and ranking member respectively of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, wrote a letter imploring the Biden administration for an update on efforts on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to establish an occupational series for Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselors (LPMHC) and Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT) at VA.
