BBS CONTINUES TO ACCEPT ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES ON BBS FORMS

During the pandemic, the BBS implemented a policy to accept electronic signatures on supervision forms in place of “original” or “wet” signatures. BBS has clarified that it will continue to accept electronic signatures on supervision, but that it will not accept forms with the supervisor’s name simply typed in.

According to the BBS, electronic signatures that are acceptable include:

  • Signatures via DocuSign or Adobe Acrobat (or similar electronic signature program);
  • Photocopy or scan of the form(s) with the supervisor’s signature

The CAMFT Legal Department is available to answer any questions you have regarding the BBS.
