Victims of California Wildfires Urged to Seek Therapy

The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) has resources available to the media and to residents who are affected by the Southern California wildfires that are currently burning in Bel-Air, Ventura, Sylmar, Santa Clarita, and San Bernardino.

A therapist trained in crisis response intervention is an invaluable asset to both distressed individuals and communities. And many people may not realize that licensed marriage and family therapists are trained to address the needs that arise from a traumatic event, such as these fires.
