Exciting opportunities are being offered by Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), formerly the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).

There are four programs creating many new opportunities not available before:

• Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program – previously did not include behavioral health profession but these positions have now been added
• Advanced Practice Healthcare Scholarship Program – previously required that the facility be a Health Profession Shortage Are (HPSA) but now it can be any county health facility
• Licensed Mental Health Services Provider Education Program – additional eligible professions have been added
• Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program – for Physicians and any county health facility now qualifies.
