JUNE 2023 E-NEWSLETTER

Dear Members,

I am writing to you on my way home from a fruitful Board of Directors meeting last weekend in San Luis Obispo. We were delighted to welcome two new Board members and meet with Chapter leaders and members from our Central Coast and Santa Barbara chapters. Chapter receptions provide an invaluable opportunity to meet members where they are, hear about the local issues and strengthen the member involvement for CAMFT’s many volunteer-driven programs.  

Our Board meeting felt especially energized and productive, and the dedication displayed by each board member was truly inspiring. I am excited to work with our exceptional team on executing our strategic priorities. We have an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact and create positive change. 

At the forefront of all of our minds was MFTs inclusion into Medicare. CAMFT continues a high level of engagement with regulators, members, provider groups and coalition partners. Don’t miss the next webinar coming up on June 29^th, 2023, at 9:00am PDT. And if you are interested in billing through Medicare, please be sure to fill out our Medicare survey as soon as possible. In the coming weeks, we will share more details regarding the specific initiatives and projects that will be instrumental in driving our strategic priorities forward. I encourage each one of you to actively participate, contribute your unique talents, and collaborate across teams to ensure our collective success.
