I have supported several nonprofit organizations in southern California and India that provide mental health care, meal programs serving children, vaccination drives, and health fairs.

Additionally, I have volunteered my counseling services by providing wellness education and resources to parents and students at local schools to promote personal and academic success. I have conducted mental wellness workshops in corporate settings such as Southern California Edison to promote mental health awareness in the workplace to reduce stigma for seeking mental health.

I was involved in supporting and nominating Diamond Bar High School for CAMFT’s outstanding Agency Award in 2020 received for the Peer Counseling program that provides high school students with Peer Counseling and mental wellness education for students and Parents.

My professional experience includes working for non-profit organization, a private practice, a large group practice, and two successful telehealth companies. Currently, I am working at a Telehealth company as the Regional Clinical Director. Besides providing client care, I have leadership and management duties to ensure clinical excellence and provide support to licensed clinicians.

I bring my education, multicultural background, and diverse clinical experience. I value integrity, honesty, hard work, and accountability. I enjoy collaborating with others, am bilingual, can communicate clearly towards solving problems, take initiative to speak on difficult topics, practice empathy, and have successfully served in the role of Clinical Director-at-Large with my fellow board members to exceed our goals.

Additionally, I can adapt in uncertain times, as new and different circumstances demand flexibility which holds true in these post-pandemic years. I am well prepared to serve CAMFT members using my previous Board experience and vision for a successful future. I can relate with the current strategic framework and 2019-2024 priorities as I served on the Board while this was being shaped. My vision is to focus on strengthening the future of LMFT clinicians. As the pandemic and current state of economy does make it a priority that we work towards strengthening both the profession and CAMFT as an organization to ensure we work alongside with the DEI goals, making CAMFT a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization.

I am committed to collaborate and lead with compassion to serve all CAMFT members.

I thank you for taking time to read through my statement and look forward to your support through your vote for me.
