4:00 pm – 5:15 pm “Chapter Board Member Orientation, Mentoring, and Idea-Share”- This session will include a short overview of board member duties and responsibilities, followed by seasoned board members sharing best practices and new leaders sharing where they need assistance.  Don't miss the conference-opening giveaways!

Keynote: "Leading in the Now: Strengthening Connection, Engagement, and Alignment Across Your Chapters" - In an ever-shifting and seemingly more uncertain world, volunteer leaders are expected to balance the goals and needs of their organization, members, and personal considerations as well. The CAMFT Chapters hold essential roles in creating and maintaining connections between its members as well as the larger organization to help advance CAMFT’s vital mission and programs. This session will focus on how to lead through continuing change while still staying connected to your mission, goals, and your chapter members through engagement and alignment. Learning Objectives: a) Reaffirm the values and motivations that motivate CAMFT members to engage in volunteer leadership b) Identify the principles, tactics and practices that aid leaders in staying connected to their stakeholders and maintain alignment to the CAMFT mission and chapter goals and c) Share and discuss engagement programs and tactics that have been successful in CAMFT chapters

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - What is your chapter doing to address diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging? Join your peers to share and learn from each other about programs and policies that encourage representation and participation of your diverse chapter membership.

Lightning/Learning Labs" - Presenters will share in lightning round format, their top 10 tips for Leader and Member  Recruitment and Retention, and resources available to chapter leaders. Advice will be geared towards not only small, medium, and large-sized chapters, but also struggling chapters. Attendees will walk away with new ideas and solutions that they can implement immediately.

2:10 pm – 3:00 pm “Speed-Sharing" - Be ready for a fun and interactive session where attendees will share best practices and innovations for new chapter member incentives, interesting events/venues, and other (non-dues) revenue sources and marketing tools
