The 2020-2021 Nominating Committee Slate of Candidates
Qualified leadership is essential to CAMFT’s success. In the exciting years ahead, it is the elected leadership that will shape the future policies and programs of the Association.

In accordance with the Bylaws of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Nominating Committee called for applications from our members and interviewed all prospective nominees. Following the interviews, the Nominating Committee has selected those candidates who, in their judgment, best meet the qualifications to effectively serve as Board Members of CAMFT. Election FAQs

A: Ballots will be sent to members on February 14, 2020. Members will receive one election packet that includes both the Board of Directors Election ballot and the Bylaws Vote ballot.

A: If you have not received your ballot by February 24, 2020, please contact the CAMFT Info Center to request a replacement ballot by emailing infocenter@camft.org or calling (858) 292-2638. Due to turn-around time, we will not be able to send replacement ballots after March 5, 2020.

Note: Pre-licensed Members will not receive ballots in 2020 as a Pre-licensed Board of Directors candidate is not up for election. Associate Members will not receive ballots as they are not eligible to vote in CAMFT elections. For more information, view CAMFT’s Bylaws, Article IV, Section A – Categories of Membership.

A: CAMFT has not shared member email addresses with candidates. CAMFT offered to facilitate email communications for each candidate, and the membership-wide emails you are receiving have been sent through CAMFT’s own database. You may opt out of each candidate’s email communications by clicking the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email. Opting out of one candidate’s email communications will not automatically serve as an opt-out from other candidates’ emails.

Note: Individual candidates may have their own email databases from which they are also sending election emails. Emails sent from individual candidate’s private email databases are not within CAMFT’s purview.

A: For convenience, members are instructed to return both the Board of Directors Election ballot and the Bylaws Vote ballot in the same postage-paid envelope. These directions are stated in the election packet.
